On December 13, 2018, the “United Religions” held a joint event with the World Congress of Mountain Jews at the United Nations Headquarters, New York.
Invitees included delegates from UN member states, American media, representatives of international organizations, UN permanent representatives and ambassadors, diplomats, prominent businessmen, politicians, artists and academics.
Among the guests of honor were Queen Moher Dr. Delois Blakely, Alison Smale, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Paul Packer, Chairman of the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, Akif Gilalov, the president of the “United Religions”, the head of the WCMJ.
After official part of the event, Joseph Malovany, the world-famous cantor from New York’s Fifth Avenue Synagogue appeared with a choir. The program also included performances by the Jewish Capella (conducted by Alexander Tsaliuk), Dmitry Sitkovetsky (violinist and conductor) and Sergey Dreznin (pianist).
